Meditation opens a window into hidden inner pathways, guiding the beginnings of each new work. I start with a clear intention, but I deliberately leave room for the unforeseen those spontaneous moments often carry the greatest value. My practice balances between Zen and stress, two opposing forces that continuously shift and redefine each other. From this polarity, my artistic expressions emerge.
I create figures that respond to the space they inhabit, and then I imprint them with a physical pressure an act that unsettles the environment and builds a tension essential to the work. This interplay between calm and strain, intention and accident, is what gives my pieces their life and presence.
